Meet the attorneys at Martone and Peasley

Joseph P. Martone, Esquire

Joe Martone has over 30 years’ experience in family law. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the premier national Family Law certification organization. He is a member of the Board of Managers of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the AAML.

Joe is the Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Family Law Section, and the Chair of the Section’s Committee on Adoption/Surrogacy. He is the author of the Alimony Chapter for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute publication: Family Law 101. He is a frequent lecturer for Continuing Legal Education courses on family law subjects, most recently, changes to the Pennsylvania custody and support laws.

Joe has also been named as a Pennsylvania “Super Lawyer” for the past seven years. He teaches Family Law at Gannon University in Erie. He is a graduate of Penn State University and of the Dickinson School of Law.

 

Paige E. Peasley, Esquire

Paige Peasley has practiced Family Law exclusively for over 30 years. She is a 1976 graduate of the University of Delaware, Phi Beta Kappa, and received a Juris Doctor Degree from the Dickinson School of Law.

Paige is a frequent lecturer on family law topics, and recently helped design and implement the parent co-coordinator program adopted by the Erie County Courts. She is a past Chair of the Erie County Family Law Section. Attorney Peasley also volunteers as a counselor at the State Women’s Correctional Facility in Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania.
